The boathouse was in a poor condition and required extensive masonry works which included cleaning, repair of damaged and eroded masonry pieces and where necessary new replacements.

The building also benefited from a new tile roof over a timber-panelled frame.

Grand Entrance Lodge

Grand Entrance Lodge, Birkenhead Park, Wirral

We were asked to carry out repairs to the roof level of the Grand Entrance Lodge which required lead work replacements and masonry repairs and where necessary replacements to the walls and balustrades.

The Swiss Bridge

The Swiss Bridge had suffered from substantial damage over the years and required complete restoration. Works included timber repairs and the roof was replaced with octagonal slates based on the original designs. The Swiss bridge was redecorated to its original style to become once again a striking park feature.
