The project comprised of archaeological excavations
prior to the commencement of ground stabilisation works both internally
and externally. Tower stabilisation works included the insertion
of circumferential and transverse cintec anchors at varying levels
up the tower whilst upper works to the tower involved the dismantling
of the parapet wall and rebuilding to include stainless steel
re-bar. Roof works consisted of raising the level of the roof,
replacing timbers and re-leading. Additional works incorporated
the erection of a new flagpole; relocation of the font and a new
concrete floor structure with new floor finishes in the tower.
