    Client:   York Civic Trust
William Anelay:   Cleaning advice and specifications
    Contract Period:   2 weeks

This project involved very careful cleaning and conservation of this statue positioned outside the Library, adjacent to the fountain. Work was carried out inside a protective canopy to minimise disruption to the public using the JOS and DOFF methods. Defective joints were carefully raked out by hand and re-pointed using lime mortar.
