I just wanted to thank you on behalf of the Estate for the work you carried out at Frith Hall. You put in considerable effort to complete the job on time and it was your skill and craftsmanship which has given such a wonderful result. We are thrilled with the finished article and so pleased that it will now stand for many more years to come.

A key factor throughout the procurement process was to ensure that the heritage elements of the Central Library & Archive Project would be carried out by specialists sympathetic to the historic fabric. William Anelay has lived up to its reputation as experts in building restoration by ensuring that the workmanship and attention to detail is to a very high standard and befitting a building of this age and importance within the heart of the city. Visitors to Liverpool can not only enjoy the benefits that the Library and Archive now have to offer, but can take pleasure in the architectural restoration of the fabulous historic areas that are a tourist attraction in their own right.

I haven’t had a chance to see the finished product (Brandesburton village cross), but Malte Klockner the ERYC conservation officer for the area, took a look on my behalf and is delighted with the result…..I can’t image English Heritage will have any comments other than a job well done. I’ll need to see the final photographic survey, but otherwise, thanks for all your patience and the usual high standard.

I am writing to express my gratitude to you for sending Will and James to do the remedial work in the cellar here at East Newton. Not only has the work been completed to an extremely high standard, but both Will and James have been exemplary. Will is obviously a top-class technician and James is an impressive young man, and they are both very polite, respectful and first-rate ambassadors for your company!
